Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is looking for tips leading to the arrest of a robbery suspect.
According to Crime Stoppers, around 5:45 a.m. on June 25, a man entered the CVS pharmacy at 4801 W. Broad Street. He approached the clerk and asked for a pack of cigarettes.
As the clerk rang up the purchases, Crime Stoppers said that the man told the clerk that he had a gun and threatened to shoot him if he did not hand over all the money in the register.
The clerk gave the man the money, and the suspect fled on foot, crime stoppers said.
The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s. He stands between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds.
He has short black hair and a short beard.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000 for any information received by July 27, 2011, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
