Newark Police and Licking County Crime Stoppers are looking for information about a series of crimes of vandalism in Newark.
The vandalism happened during the nighttime hours of Wednesday, May 25, through Friday, May 27, Licking County Crime Stoppers said.
One or more suspects used a BB gun to shoot out windows of nine vehicles parked on North Buena Vista Street and Everett, Oakwood, Dewey and Allston avenues.
Licking County Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the persons responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888.
All tips will remain anonymous. A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
